In the first quarter of 2025, Vietnam experienced a 7.2% increase in foreign direct investment (FDI), reaching a total of USD 4.96 billion compared to the same period last year. Additionally, FDI commitments, which signal future capital inflows, surged by 34.7% year-on-year, amounting to USD 10.98 billion.
