South Korea's Producer Inflation Slows to 1.3% in March
Producer inflation in South Korea rose by 1.3% year-over-year in March 2025, decelerating from a 1.5% increase observed in the previous month, and representing the lowest figure since November. This decrease was primarily attributed to a more modest rise in prices for electricity, water, and gas, which increased by 4.6% compared to February's 5.1%. Meanwhile, service prices maintained a consistent annual growth of 1.6%. Conversely, prices for agricultural, forestry, and marine products continued to decline, decreasing by 3%, which surpassed the previous decline of 2.1%. On a monthly basis, producer prices remained unchanged for the second consecutive month.
