Spain Consumer Confidence at 5-Month Low
In March 2025, consumer confidence in Spain saw a decline, dropping by 1.8 points to a level of 79.6. This is the lowest it has been since October 2024, decreasing from the previous month's figure of 81.4. The downturn can be attributed to a more negative consumer evaluation of the current economic situation, which fell to 76.6 from 77.1, and diminished household expectations, which decreased to 82.6 from 85.8. Comparing year-over-year data, consumer confidence declined by 2.9 points, sliding from 82.5 to 79.6.
