Vietnam Tourist Arrivals Rise 28.5% YoY in March
In March 2025, Vietnam experienced a significant 28.5% increase in international arrivals compared to the same period the previous year, reaching a total of 2.05 million visitors. This marked an acceleration from the 23.7% growth observed in the preceding month. Notably, there was a 32.1% rise in visitors from Asia, driven primarily by substantial increases from China (79.1%), Taiwan (10.6%), Japan (9.9%), and Cambodia (165.2%). Arrivals from the Americas also witnessed growth, rising by 4.6%, with the United States contributing a 2.3% increase. European visitor numbers surged by 21.5%, led by Russia (122.0%), the UK (22.5%), France (25.4%), and Germany (17.7%). Additionally, tourists from Australia saw a notable growth of 20.4%. Conversely, arrivals from Africa experienced a decline of 18.7%. Over the first quarter of the year, total tourist arrivals increased by 29.6%, amounting to 6.02 million.
