Slovenia Business Mood Weakens
In May 2025, Slovenia's seasonally adjusted business tendency in the manufacturing sector declined by 1 percentage point, settling at -8. This downturn is primarily attributed to diminished production expectations, which dropped to 4 from 7. Current evaluations also showed a decrease in finished goods inventories, falling to 3 from 4. Current production and export order books continued to reflect negative figures, with current production at -1, compared to -2 previously, and export order books at -24, compared to -25. Overall, the order books remained weak at -25 and employment prospects shifted to negative, moving to -1 from a previous positive of 1.
