Bulgaria Producer Prices Rise for 9th Month
Producer prices in Bulgaria experienced an 8.6% increase year-on-year in July 2025, up from a 7.3% rise in the prior month. This marks the ninth consecutive month of producer inflation, with notable price hikes observed in the mining and quarrying sector (24.5% compared to 16.4%) as well as in the electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (21.0% compared to 16.3%). Conversely, manufacturing costs saw a reduction (7.8% compared to 8.7%). On a month-to-month basis, there was a 3.4% increase in producer prices for July, rebounding from a 0.2% decrease in the previous period.
