Poland Employment Falls Slightly More Than Expected
In July 2025, corporate employment in Poland experienced a 0.9% decline compared to the same month the previous year, bringing the total to 6.43 million employees. This decrease slightly exceeded market expectations and the preceding month's 0.8% decline. It marks the 24th consecutive month of decreasing corporate employment figures. On a month-over-month basis, employment saw a 0.1% drop, following a period of no change. Conversely, the average gross monthly salary rose by 7.6% year-on-year, reaching PLN 8,905.6.
