Slovenia Producer Inflation Ticks Down
In July 2025, Slovenia experienced a slight decrease in annual producer inflation, recording a rate of 1.1%, down from a five-month peak of 1.3% in June. This moderation can be attributed mainly to declining prices in the mining and quarrying sector, which fell to 8.5% from 9.1%, and in the manufacturing sector, which slipped to 1.4% from 1.5%. Meanwhile, prices for water supply services remained unchanged at 5.4%. Conversely, the deflationary trend persisted in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply category, with prices dropping by 6.3%, following a 7% decline previously. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices decreased by 0.2% in July, negating a 0.2% increase observed in June.
