On the other hand, prices increased at a quicker pace in communication (5.9% against 4.1%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (6.6% compared to 6.5%), and health (4.8% versus 4.7%), while price growth remained unchanged for food and non-alcoholic beverages (4.9%) and education (8.6%). On a monthly basis, consumer price levels remained stagnant in August, which was slightly above the anticipated 0.1% decrease, following a 0.3% increase observed in July.
