Poland Q2 GDP Growth Confirmed at 3.4%
In the second quarter of 2025, Poland's economy grew by 3.4% compared to the previous year, aligning with initial estimates and showing a slight increase from the 3.2% growth observed in the first quarter of 2025. This improvement largely stemmed from a rise in household consumption, which climbed to 4.4% from 2.5% in Q1 2025, and an increase in total consumption, up to 3.8% from 2.4%. However, there was a slowdown in the growth of gross fixed capital formation, which registered at 5.3% down from 6.3%. Additionally, net trade had a negative impact. On a seasonally adjusted basis, the quarterly economic expansion was 0.8% in Q2 2025, consistent with initial estimates and following a 0.7% increase in the prior quarter.
