Slovenia Business Confidence At 30-Month High
In September 2025, Slovenia's seasonally adjusted business confidence indicator in the manufacturing sector improved to -5, up from -6 in August. This represents the most favorable reading since February 2023. The optimism was largely driven by increased expectations for selling prices, which rose to 3 from 1, and for production, which strengthened to 11 from 6. Additionally, the stocks of finished goods showed a positive shift, moving to 2 from -1. Meanwhile, employment trends remained steady at 2, and the status of overall order books continued to show weakness, holding steady at -24.
