In October 2025, the annual inflation rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina experienced a slight increase, reaching 4.3%, up from 4.2% in September. This rise was primarily driven by increased costs in housing and utilities, which jumped to 5.2% from 2.3%, and furnishings and household equipment, which saw an increase to 1.8% from 1.3%. In contrast, the rate of price increases slowed in several sectors; notably, food and non-alcoholic beverages decreased to 6.9% from 7.8%, and similar downward trends were observed in categories such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.8% from 3.9%), health (5.5% from 5.9%), recreation and culture (4.7% from 4.8%), education (3.3% from 3.6%), restaurants and hotels (7.8% from 8.0%), and other goods and services (2.5% from 3.0%). Additionally, the prices of clothing and footwear continued to decline, falling further to -8.2% from -7.5%. Transport costs remained stable following a 0.8% decline in the prior month. On a month-to-month comparison, consumer prices saw an increase of 0.4%, building on a 0.2% rise in September.
