
In October 2025, Pakistan's consumer confidence indicator rose to 40.0 from 37.7 in the previous month, marking an improvement from the lowest level seen in the last ten months. Current economic conditions saw a rise in sentiment (40.6 from 37.5 in September), as did expected economic conditions (39.4 from 37.8), along with an increase in the perceived suitability of purchasing durable goods (35.0 compared to 33.7). However, expectations for future income showed a decline (45.8 from 49.0). Additionally, there was a heightened concern about unemployment in the forthcoming six months (70.5 up from 70.1). On a different note, inflation expectations saw a reduction (21.2 from 22.5), with the proportion of consumers anticipating higher prices remaining steady (at 70.0).
