Speculative positioning in the Swiss franc improved slightly, with traders reducing their net short exposure, according to the latest data on CFTC CHF speculative net positions. As of the update on 24 July 2026, net positions stood at -34.2K, compared with -37.0K previously.
The shift indicates that while market participants remain net short the Swiss franc, bearish sentiment has eased marginally.
