US Natural Gas Stocks Rise Last Week: EIA
During the week ending September 5, U.S. energy companies added 71 billion cubic feet (bcf) of gas to storage, aligning closely with market expectations of 68 bcf. This increase significantly surpasses the 36 bcf rise recorded in the same week last year, as well as the five-year average build of 56 bcf. Despite this substantial injection, storage levels are still 1.1% lower compared to the same time last year, yet remain 6% above the average for the previous five years.
